MAY 21, 2020 UPDATE
Bishop Vasquez has granted us permission to begin the reopening of public Masses! However, there is no obligation to attend Mass in the Diocese of Austin. Our Live Stream will remain available.
You are reminded to follow CDC recommendations regarding your own health. If you fall within an “at risk” category, please stay home and join us by Live Stream. Bishop Vasquez has advised and encourages “the following parishioners to not attend Mass and to remain at home: (i) those who are sick; (ii) those who are 65 or older; (iii) those who have been advised by health care workers or caregivers to not attend Mass; (iv) those who sincerely believe that attending Mass will jeopardize their health or the health of a person with whom they reside; and (v) those who sincerely believe that because of the limitations imposed by the temporary protocols attending Mass is not reasonable”.
Our first public Sunday Mass at Holy Cross will be Sunday May 10th, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. This is part of Phase 1 of our parish reopening and will have many new protocols that all parishioners must follow to attend Mass. These procedures will be reevaluated weekly. If you would like to attend Mass please read through this email and thank you for your patience and compliance.
