Pastoral Corner
We are all now affected by the corono virus as we can no longer gather in the Church to worship. Whatever the situation may be, we are still connected in our faith. As you pray from your home, we are all praying the same prayer to the same God Almighty. Remember we are Catholics. In the scripture today, Jesus heals a man born blind, something unthinkable just as in the first reading, David, the youngest and least of his brothers was chosen as king - again, something the world finds illogical and reasonable. Let us be strong for our God is with us. With St Paul, we can say: We are afflicted in every way, but not constrained; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed 2cort 4:8-9
May God's mercy be upon, as we place all our faith in him.
